Conferência do European Forum for Restorative Justice 2014
8th EFRJ Conference – Beyond crime: pathways to desistance, social justice, and peacebuilding
The 8th International Conference of the European Forum for Restorative Justice will take place in Belfast from 11 to 14 June 2014. The EFRJ is extremely happy with the two local co-organising universities, University of Ulster (UoU) and Queen’s University Belfast (QUB). QUB will be hosting the conference!
With the 3 central themes of the conference – desistance, social justice, and peacebuilding – we aim to broaden our scope of restorative justice, and therefore try to look “beyond” its application to the criminal justice system. The EFRJ is excited to announce that the following speakers have already confirmed to present in Belfast:
Shadd Maruna, Queen’s University Belfast
Joanna Shapland, University of Sheffield
Tove Malloy, European Centre for Minority Issues
Brunilda Pali, Catholic Univeristy of Leuven
John Braithwaite, Australian National University
Kieran McEvoy, Queen’s University Belfast
